National Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA) has started call for applications for scientists under the bilateral exchange program between Poland and Italy “CANALETTO”.

Applications for funding may be submitted by universities, scientific units of the Polish Academy of Sciences, research institutes and international scientific institutes operating in Poland.

The aim of the program is to support the mobility of scientists carrying out research projects, agreed and conducted jointly by partners from Poland and Italy. Funding for projects is intended to cover the costs of travel and stays of researchers, excluding funding for the research itself, which must be guaranteed from other sources.

The call covers exclusively the following thematic areas: mathematics, physics, chemistry, space, agriculture, food and sustainable environment, nanotechnology and advanced materials, information and communication technologies, cultural heritage, medicine and health.
