“When the Krosno Academy of Applied Sciences was established in 1999, it may not even have been imagined that it would develop rapidly, expanding its teaching facilities, broadening its educational offer and constantly raising the standards of education”, wrote the rector of the State Academy of Applied Sciences (PANS) in Krosno, Dr Zbigniew Barabasz, Professor of PANS.
As the rector emphasises in the letter addressed to PANS employees and students, the Krosno university today comprises three institutes and over a dozen faculties.
There are more students, graduates, and employees. Buildings belonging to the university have been renovated, thanks to which students study in modern lecture halls, laboratories and workshops. “The results achieved are the work of many outstanding academic teachers, management and administrative staff,” states Prof. Barabasz.
The celebrations of the anniversary year will be accompanied by a number of interesting events: scientific conferences, meetings, concerts and exhibitions. The main jubilee celebrations have been planned for June.
