National Agency for Academic Exchange has announced the results of the enrollment for the 4th Bekker Program. The program is one of the flagship activities of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. The jury selected 176 scholarship holders from 507 candidates for stays of 3 to 24 months to carry out scientific projects or postdoctoral internships together with foreign scientists and to develop international cooperation.   

In this year’s Bekker NAWA Program, the largest group of scientists is planning to implement projects in centers located in the USA (36 people), Germany (17 people), Spain (14 people) and Great Britain (13 people). The researchers will also travel to centers in Australia, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Japan, Uruguay and Georgia.

The list of universities that will offer the fellows research possibilites include such prestigious universities as: Oxford University, Columbia University, Stanford University, Tokyo University, Humboldt University in Berlin, New York University and the Max Planck Institute.
