Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and the University Center for Environmental Studies and Sustainable Development of the University of Warsaw received the main prizes in the competition of the National Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA) for the work “Why is Poland attractive for foreign students? Higher education as a source of Poland’s soft power” and “The transition into a sustainable society by the University of Warsaw “) “Promotion with word”.

The purpose of the competition announced by NAWA was the international promotion of the Polish area of higher education and science by creating the possibility of publishing the article on the international portal dealing with the subject of higher education and science – Times Higher Education.

The competition was addressed to didactic and research units in Poland, whose task was to send a competition paper as an article promoting a represented unit or promoting Poland as an attractive destination for studying.
