The National Center for Research and Development announced the first competition as part of the pilot program of the INNOship sector program. The program is designed to support research and development in the shipbuilding industry.

We have great shipbuilding traditions and well-educated engineers in Poland. If we add to this the increase in expenditure on research and development, we will achieve our goal: shipbuilding can again become a showcase of the Polish economy – said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin, Minister of Science and Higher Education. The reconstruction of the shipbuilding industry is one of the priorities of the government’s activities.

The first stage of the INNOship program will last two years. Two competitions have been planned with a total budget of around PLN 240 million. The call for applications in the first competition will start on April 30 and will last until June 29, 2018.
