As a result of the decision of the Ministry of Science, the National Contact Point for Research Programs of the European Union has joined the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR).

Until the end of this year, the activities of the NCP for the Horizon 2020 program will still be implemented under the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN). The tasks under the Horizon Europe framework program will be realized from January 1, 2021 by the NCBR.

This means that the NCBR will actively participate in the process of preparing the next framework program in the field of research and innovation.

The tasks of the National Contact Point include providing expert support in negotiating the strategic plan of the Horizon Europe program and in the preparation of work programs of the competitions.
