The National Institute of Freedom – Centre for Civil Society Development is organising a competition for the best master’s thesis and doctoral dissertation on civil society.

The aim of the competition is to increase public awareness of the role of civil society, to popularise knowledge in this field and to promote high quality master’s theses and doctoral dissertations in the social sciences, humanities and theology concerning civil society. 

The competition is under the patronage of the President of the Committee for Public Benefit.

Participants in the competition can be university graduates and dissertation authors who have defended their theses between 1 January 2019 and 30 September 2022 and have not participated in an earlier edition of the Competition.
