Three projects by researchers at the University of Wrocław have received funding under the National Programme for the Development of the Humanities (NPRH).
The funded projects are: “The image of the Republic of Poland in European geographical and historical works in the 18th century and its Old Polish reception”; “In the face of danger. The Second Polish Republic and its society in the years 1935-1939 in the light of the reports of the voivodes of the central voivodeships’; and ‘Philosophy for Poland’, which aims to carry out research on hitherto unknown archives of the eminent Polish philosopher Kazimierz Twardowski.
The object of the NPRH is to finance, by means of a competition, among other things, long-term projects for the editing of sources and documents, editorials and compendia of knowledge for research into Polish cultural heritage, as well as monographs and studies on issues of particular importance for Polish national identity.
