Jarosław Olszewski will head the National Representation of PhD students in 2021. He is the second chairman from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in history.

Jarosław Olszewski is a graduate of the Interdepartmental Study of Biotechnology of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and since 2016 he has been a doctoral student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He works as a research and teaching assistant at the Department of Large Animal Diseases, Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

The National Representation of Doctoral Students is a nationwide representative and exponent of the will of the doctoral students’ community. Its statutory tasks include promoting the environment of doctoral students, as well as its educational, social, economic and cultural needs; presenting applications in matters concerning all doctoral students, including issuing opinions on draft normative acts; protecting the rights and interests of doctoral students in Poland and Polish doctoral students abroad; taking care to improve the quality of doctoral student education; supporting and promoting the self-governance of doctoral students.
