130 more scientists from Polish research centers will soon start preliminary and pilot studies, research internships and consultation trips thanks to funding from the National Science Center (NCN) under the MINIATURE 5 competition. The planned allocation for scientific activities is almost PLN 5 million.

Activities qualified for financing include gender issues, e.g. concerning the images of femininity in the masculinized professional space, on the example of representatives of selected uniformed services (police, prison service and border guards).

There are also topics dealing with the effects of the pandemic, such as professional burnout and involvement in work with nurses in the context of the final stage of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as in agricultural sciences such as “The impact of the lactation phase on the metabolomic profile of dairy cows”.
