Over PLN 48 million for 50 projects will be received by the researchers from all continents who will come to Poland as part of the POLONEZ BIS 1 competition organized by the National Science Center.

A total of 151 applications were submitted in the POLONEZ BIS 1 call. After formal and content-related evaluation, 50 projects were qualified for financing.

The jury decided to implement 27 projects in science and technology, 14 in social sciences and art, and 9 in life sciences.

Scientists awarded in the POLONEZ BIS call represent countries located on all continents, incl. Germany, France, China, Australia, USA, Argentina and Egypt.

The aim of the competition is to develop scientists’ careers by supporting their international mobility and financing ambitious research projects carried out in the best Polish centers.
