The National Science Center (NCN) announced the first results of the OPUS 22 + LAP / WEAVE competition allowing researchers of all stages of their careers to apply for funding for projects implemented in cooperation with foreign institutions under the WEAVE program.

8 Polish-Slovenian research projects worth nearly PLN 13 million have been qualified for funding. One of them is “Diagnostics and mechanical tests of aged adhesive layers used in joints of wooden structures”. The project will be implemented by the Krakow University of Technology and the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute.

In addition to scientists from the Krakow University of Technology, the beneficiaries of the OPUS 22 + LAP / WEAVE competition also include researchers from the University of Warsaw, the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, the University of Wrocław, the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and Wrocław University of Science and Technology .
