Twelve European research funding institutions, including the Polish National Science Center (NCN), with the support of the Science Europe association, have announced the Weave multilateral cooperation program, aimed at financing international research projects of outstanding scientific level.

For the first time, this huge collaborative network is launching a large initiative to support bi- and tripartite European research projects in all fields of science.

The Weave program aims to simplify the procedures for submitting and selecting research projects involving researchers from two or three European countries / regions.

From 2021, the National Science Center will be in the WEAVE program and continued cooperation with partner institutions from Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Switzerland and Germany. In the following years, it is planned to expand the NCN’s cooperation to include other research funding institutions participating in the WEAVE program.
