The National Science Center (NCN) has published the last ranking list of the MINIATURE 5 competition. The results of the competition are over 300 research activities awarded lastly and almost 700 proposals in total. The competition is open to scientists who have not managed grants so far.

The MINIATURE 5 competition allows receiving a grant for preliminary and pilot research, queries, research internships, research and consultation trips. Applications were accepted continuously – from May to September. The NCN published lists of qualified activities once a month.

The last list of winners includes 321 scientists, and the value of selected activities is PLN 11.9 million. It was possible to award such a large number of grants thanks to the increased funding of the National Science Center by the Ministry of Education and Science.

One of the goals of the MINIATURE competition is to expand the group of winners of the NCN competitions and to encourage researchers from centers that use the NCN offer to a lesser extent.
