The National Science Center (NCN) in cooperation with the M-ERA network announces the MERA-NET 2 call for international research projects on materials science and materials engineering.

International consortia consisting of at least 3 research teams from at least 2 countries participating in the competition may apply for this funding. The head of the Polish team must have at least a PhD degree.

The MERA-NET 2 funds can be allocated for remuneration of the research team, remuneration and scholarships for its regular or PhD students, purchase or manufacture of scientific and research equipment and other costs related to expenses necessary for the implementation of the research project.
The amount of funds allocated by the NCN for the implementation of Polish researches in the competition is 500,000. euro.
