The National Science Center has announced five competitions, including GRIEG and IdeaLab, financed with funds from Norwegian and EEA funds. In addition, competitions MAESTRO 11, SONATA BIS 9 and UWERTURA 4 have started. In total, scientists can obtain 161 million PLN and almost 42 million euros for basic research.
GRIEG is a competition for joint Polish-Norwegian research projects implemented in all fields of science with particular emphasis on polar research and social sciences research. The research must be carried out jointly by Polish-Norwegian research teams consisting of at least one Polish partner, acting as a consortium leader, and at least one Norwegian partner.
IdeaLab is a competition for research projects carried out jointly by research teams consisting of at least one Polish partner, acting as the leader of a consortium and at least one partner from Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein.
