The National Science Center (NCN) in cooperation with the BiodivERsA and Water JPI network is launching the BiodivRestore competition for international research projects on biodiversity and the protection and restoration of degraded ecosystems, with particular emphasis on aquatic environments.
According to the competition regulations, international consortia, composed of at least 3 research teams from at least 3 countries participating in the competition, may apply for funding. The head of the Polish team must have at least a doctoral title.
The following countries participate in the competition: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Spain, Netherlands, Ireland, Lithuania, Latvia, Morocco, Moldova, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey.
The total amount of funds allocated by the National Science Center for all Polish research teams selected in the competition is PLN 500,000. euro.
