Scientific groups operating at the Faculty of Mathematics of the Wrocław University of Technology invite participants from the 12th to the 14th of April to the 6th National Mathematical Student Conference “OMatKo !!!”.
The conference in the Congress Center of the Wrocław University of Technology is intended for students and PhD students of mathematics and related fields from all over Poland. This year, approximately 300 people have announced their participation.
The meeting is guided by the idea of “students to students” and it is the participants who will present papers on their interests or the results of their own scientific research. In two independent thematic blocks 37 speakers will talk on theoretical and applied maths.
The opening lecture entitled “Archimedes’s Law. Is the mathematician also jumping out of the bathtub? “, will be given by Prof. Jacek Małecki. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to talk to partner companies, such as: McKinsey, Kruk, Credit Suisse and Aviva.
