The Naval Academy in Gdynia is implementing the CALT (Computer Adaptive Language Testing) project to implement an innovative program (algorithm) for conducting computer-based language adaptation tests.
The Gdynia university hosted NATO DEEP workshops, the entity supporting the project was the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Eight remote education experts from the University of National Defense of Ukraine from Kiev, the National Defense Academy of Sofia, the Naval Academy of Gdynia and NATO DEEP ADL Portal participated in the workshops.
The topics of the workshop concerned the use of the LMS ILIAS platform and the NATO DEEP ADL portal to conduct these tests, in accordance with the NATO 6001 standard. The participants made substantive arrangements and determined directions for future actions, including the conclusion that the next CALT will take place in February 2020.
