Dr Dawid Kostecki was appointed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki as the director of the National Agency for Academic Exchange. He received the nomination from the Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek.

The new director has been appointed for a 5-year term.

Dr Dawid Kostecki is a doctor of law and a master’s degree in history at the Catholic University of Lublin. He is a graduate of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the University of Management in Warsaw. He is a member of the Council of Young Scientists, an advisory body to the Minister of Education and Science.

“It is a great honor for me to take the position of director of an agency which is so important for Polish science. Within five years it has already managed to mark its presence and importance not only in the country, but also abroad. Together with the NAWA team, we will continue to build the academic ethos. We want to maintain the direction of establishing international cooperation, thanks to which we will strengthen the potential of Polish science”, said Dr Dawid Kostecki.
