At the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz, a new laboratory will be constructed to conduct testing of rail vehicle equipment. The cornerstone for the construction of a new research facility was laid on October 16.

The results of the tests carried out in the new hall will be used to improve the reliability of rail vehicles manufactured by the Pojazdy Szynowe PESA Bydgoszcz. The main hall’s user will be the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Bydgoszcz University.

The building is part of the project “Laboratories of technical and exact sciences dedicated to the development of research potential in the field of innovative solutions and technologies of key importance for the economy of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship”. The aim of the project is to improve the quality and increase the possibility of conducting high-quality scientific research, including the implementation.
