The first contracts with 200 Polish companies that present the best proposals for a prototype of a passenger electric car will be signed in February.
The competition was announced by ElectroMobility Poland (EMP) Partnership, which will construct the first Polish e-car at the end of November 2017. Its shareholders are the largest Polish energy companies: PGE, Tauron Polska Energia, Enea and Energa, which acquired a 25% stake.
More than dozen projects have been submitted. Now they need to be assessed for their business potential and compliance with technical requirements. There is a big amount of money at stake, offered by the State Treasury to launch the production of an electric car in Poland.
ElectroMobility Poland declares that this year it will start building prototypes of Polish e-cars.
