Dr Wawrzyniec Konarski was appointed the rector of the Academy of Finance and Business (AFiB) Vistula in Warsaw by the University’s Founder.

– I want to act to raise the University’s image rank and to increase its recognition and attractiveness from the national and international perspective. This would emphasize the qualitative attributes of academic staff and students – said the new rector.

Dr Wawrzyniec Konarski, a professor at AFiB Vistula, previously held the function of a rector’s representative in the university authorities. He is a well-known political scientist, respected lecturer, member of Polish and international scientific associations, author of nearly 200 publications in the field of political science, cultural studies, media studies and international relations.
