The total value of the CentriX project, launched at the National Center for Nuclear Research in Świerk, will amount to nearly PLN 28 million. Over 17.6 million comes from the Regional Operational Program of the Mazowieckie Region 2014-2020, financed by the European Union.
The Fast-X Laboratory project includes the use of the modular accelerator speeding electrons to the energy of 30 MeV. The laboratory, apart from screening with high-energy x-rays and neutrons, also offers electric capacitance tomography and allows scientists to work on the newest x-ray technologies.
The CentriX project also includes the Laboratory of the Acceleration Structures Test Stands, where new radiography structures will be developed and investigated.
