Professor Franciszek Walczak, called the godfather of Polish electrophysiology, became the patron of the new National Program of the Academic Exchange Agency and the Ministry of Health addressed to scientists in the field of cardiology, oncology, allergology and infectious diseases.

– It is really a unique program, implemented interdepartmentally. 100 Polish doctors will take internships at the best institutes in the USA. Thanks to close cooperation with American scientists, patients in our country will gain access to the latest knowledge and clinical practices – said Piotr Dardziński, deputy minister of science and higher education, during the conference inaugurating the program.

The program involves trips lasting 3 to 6 months to the best medical centers of the USA.
