Dietetics students at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Wrocław (UMW) have new didactic premises at their disposal, where they will be able to learn the processes of food technology and food preparation in theory and practice. 

– Never before have we had our own studio at the Medical University of Wrocław, where students could learn food technology and food preparation processes. It was possible after the transfer of the nutritionist studies from the department of health sciences to the department of pharmaceuticals, where the housing conditions allowed for the creation of a multifunctional laboratory – says the dean of the pharmaceutical department of the Medical University of Warsaw, Prof. Marcin Mączyński.

Own laboratory means greater comfort, but also considerable savings for the medical university in Wrocław. Previously, students used the laboratories of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, which cost nearly a quarter of a million PLN each year.
