The Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN), in cooperation with the US National Academy of Sciences (NAS), is launching a call for applications for a new programme to support scientists from Ukraine.
Scientists will be able to conduct research in the network of institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences for a maximum of three years. The assumed annual budget will be up to $200,000 per research group (i.e. $600,000 for three years). A research group will consist of up to five people. The programme will be funded by the NAS.
The support programme is open to scientists with Ukrainian citizenship and researchers employed in Ukrainian scientific units as of 24 February 2022 – informs Mateusz Białas, Director of the Representative Office of the “Polish Academy of Sciences” in Kyiv. During the project, all researchers will have a dual affiliation – of their home unit and of the Polish host unit.
