New 95 researchers have been awarded in the MINIATURE 2 competition. They will receive a total of nearly PLN 3.25 million for the implementation of scientific activities such as preliminary research, pilot studies, queries, internships, scientific consultations and conference trips.
The laureates are Dr Beata Bielska from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, who will receive nearly PLN 40,000 for the implementation of preliminary research in the project “Downloading and plagiarizing. Student culture of copying in terms of massification, commercialization, internationalization and diversification of higher education in Poland”; Dr Zofia Danuta Wóycicka from the Polish Academy of Sciences, who will conduct a research trip for over 30,000 PLN within the project “Rescuing Jews during the Second World War in the narratives of European museums”, and Dr Anna Szpakowicz from the Medical University of Bialystok, who will receive 50 thousand PLN for pilot studies in the project “The role of new adipokines in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and ‘obesity paradox’ in patients with ischemic heart disease”.
