The Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń will receive PLN 1 million for the implementation of the project “Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun – a vision of research excellence” as part of the program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education “Strategy of Excellence – University of Research”.

The main tasks of the program are raising international recognition of universities, strengthening research cooperation with centers of high international reputation, improving the quality of education of students and PhD students, attracting the most talented candidates from the country and abroad, and improving the quality of university management.

One of the basic goals set in the university development strategy for 2019-2025 is to obtain the status of a research university. Implementation of the project “Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun – a vision of research excellence” will help to achieve this goal.
