Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń joins the Ranking of Academic Universities

In the latest Ranking of Academic Universities “Perspektywy”, the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (UMK) maintained its strong position as the fifth university in the country, and it advanced four places in the ranking of all universities.

In the 23rd ranking, the Nicolaus Copernicus University was ranked 13th among all academic universities in Poland (along with the Silesian University of Technology and the Warsaw School of Economics). This is a promotion by as many as four places, what is more, it is the highest position of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in the most important national ranking in four years. In the category of universities, the university remains in the 5th position.

The University of Toruń maintained its 4th position in the category of universities with high research potential, improving its score by 0.3 points in this category. It was also ranked higher in the “training conditions” category, advancing from 6th to 4th place. The biggest hike – by as many as 23 points – was recorded by the Nicolaus Copernicus University in the “internationalization” category, in which it was classified on the 24th position this year.
