Archaeologists, anthropologists, historians, art historians, cultural scholars, musicologists, pedagogues and psychologists will take part in the 6th Night of the Humanists – 6 April at the University of Wrocław. The motto of this year’s meeting is: “Is this the world in which we want to live? Rebellion in culture.”

The crisis of traditional forms of democracy, increase in social (especially economic) differences, global trade wars, fears related to migration movements, ethnic conflicts, shortages of irritation and water, ecological catastrophes, safety as the chief quality and value of human life (instead of freedom), hatred in speech and widespread violence – these are just some of the threats and challenges facing the world today.
Students from the Wrocław faculty of historical and pedagogical sciences, want to remind participants how important is the scientific truth and how important social role it has to play.
