The Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of the Maria Curie Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin invites participants to the Night of the Owls. The meeting with owls will start on March 16, 2019. at 16:30 and will last until 17 March.

In the first part of the event there will be workshops to find out which species of these birds live in Poland and specifically, in Lublin. There will also be attractions for the kids, e.g. learning to perform owls’ voices and a knowledge contest about owls. Participants will be able to get acquainted with ornithological literature and practise with field equipment and even stroke an owl.

The second part of the event is a night trip, during which participants will be able to see how the night life of the forest looks, and above all, hear and see owls in their natural environment.
