Polish Academy of Sciences with the participation of the Academy of Young Scientists and the Copernicus Science Center invites the participants to the lecture of Prof. Tim Hunt, Nobel laureate in medicine and physiology in 2001, which will be held on June 14 at 18.00 at the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw.
Prof. Hunt will talk about his research on cell cycle regulation and share his thoughts about a successful research career. During the panel discussion after the lecture, he will conduct a conversation about the characteristics of a good scientist, their role in the modern world, as well as the scientific balance between openness and competitiveness, professional duties and personal life.
