Prof. Ferenc Krausz, a world-renowned physicist and winner of this year’s Nobel Prize in Physics will visit Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The visit is linked to the opening of a collaborative research group at the university. The Nobel laureate will also give an open lecture as part of the Interdisciplinary Science Seminar.

The visit of the scientist cooperating with the Wrocław university, is connected with the inauguration, planned for Tuesday, 7 November of a special research group specialising in the construction of ultrafast lasers. It is headed by Dr Maciej Kowalczyk, who collaborated with Prof Krausz in Germany as a postdoctoral fellow in 2020-22.
