Minister of Investment and Development Jerzy Kwieciński and Olav Myklebust, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in Poland signed an agreement on the implementation of the “Research” program under the 3rd Norwegian and EEA Funds.

The “Research” program is an opportunity to strengthen the transfer of research results to the economy, and thus to make it more competitive and dynamic – said Minister Jerzy Kwieciński.

The program aims to improve the results of Polish scientific research. It will be implemented within 2 areas: support of basic research (40% of program allocation), which will be managed by the National Science Center and support of application research (60% of program allocation), which will be managed by the National Center for Research and Development.

Over EUR 129 million will be allocated for the support of scientific research under the 3rd Norwegian and EEA Funds.
