From March 26, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, classes at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw were conducted exclusively using the e-learning methods. The university is ready to conduct traditional, online and hybrid classes in the new academic year, but because of concerns for the health of students and employees, it is inclined to conduct classes online also in the first semester of the coming year.
Classes at Collegium Civitas were carried out exclusively using the e-learning methods, using a set of tools and IT systems ensuring the implementation of online classes as well as appropriate procedures and security of data circulation. Classes using one of the three tools – Virtual University, personalized Moodle e-learning platform, Microsoft Teams platform – were successfully conducted by almost 300 lecturers from Collegium Civitas.
BA and MA studies of Collegium Civitas included 3,386 online classes, with 1,348 lectures and 2,038 practical classes, in Polish and English, as well as 1,772 language courses, conducted in small groups. Also, postgraduate classes were conducted completely online with a total of 1,046 teaching hours.
