Students started to apply for the courses of the Open University of the University of Warsaw (UOUW). The first day broke the record, when from 300 courses, as many as 204 course groups were completed and launched on the very first day. This is the best result in the UOUW’s 11-year history.
The study ‘Learn from the best’, which has been launched again, has become particularly popular. It is an opportunity to meet outstanding experts from various fields of science. In this trimester the University of Warsaw is recommending the course: „What did the European Union give us? Socio-economic balance of Poland’s membership in the community”.
Economists Prof. Jan Michałek, Prof. Jerzy Wilkin and Dr Mateusz Szczurek will give their lectures on this topic. The course was created in cooperation with the CASE Socio-Economic Analysis Center.
The application process will last for another two months or until groups are completed. The courses will be conducted by lecturers from the University of Warsaw and the Medical University of Warsaw, and prices start from PLN 275 for 30 hours. The classes are dedicated to all students over 16 years of age.
