The National Centre of Science (NCN) has begun accepting applications in the OPUS 25 competition for research projects and the PRELUDIUM 22 competition for scientists without a doctoral degree. The budget for both competitions is PLN 330 million. NCN is waiting for applications until 15 June 2023.

The OPUS 25 competition is open to grants for the implementation of research projects in the field of basic research, including those involving the use of large international research facilities by Polish teams, carried out in cooperation with partners from foreign institutions or without their participation.

The competition is addressed to scientists at all stages of their scientific career, regardless of age and experience.

The PRELUDIUM 22 competition is aimed at scientists who do not yet have a doctoral degree. A research team in a PRELUDIUM project can consist of up to three people, including the project leader and a supervisor.
