The project of establishing the Center for Research and Innovation in Cardiovascular Diseases at the University Clinical Hospital in Opole received an additional PLN 6 million of EU funding. The value of the entire project is 27 million PLN, of which 18 million are external funds.
The project of the Center for Research and Innovation in Cardiovascular Diseases USK assumes the creation of a leading center for innovative modern technologies, establishing a common research space for USK units to deal with cardiovascular diseases.
Establishing a center means creating an infrastructure to study the health problems of the Opole community, with particular emphasis on the aging population. Thanks to the center, it will be possible to establish a unit equipped with appropriate infrastructure and software, which will enable integration of specialists in various fields, as well as remote cooperation with specialists from Poland and abroad.
