Until May 31, 2019, outstanding young scientists with significant achievements in scientific activity can submit applications for scholarships.

According to the Ministry, a young scientist is a PhD student or academic teacher with a PhD degree awarded less than 7 years ago and employed at a university or higher education institutions, Polish Academy of Sciences, the PAS institutes, research institutes, international scientific institutes operating in Poland, the Polish Academy of Learning or another entity that conducts scientific activities.

The scholarship is awarded for a period not longer than 3 years. The maximum scholarship cannot exceed PLN 5390 per month.
