Rzeszów University of Technology has accepted over 3,800 students for the first year of studies. In total, over 14,000 students started the new academic year at the Rzeszów University. The recruitment results satisfied Prof. Tadeusz Markowski, rector of the University of Technology, who stated that it confirmed the high position of the university in the south-eastern Poland.

Automation and robotics as well as logistics were the most popular studies. Eight candidates competed for one place in both courses. IT and management were also popular faculties. Seven candidates competed for one place in those courses.

For electrotechnics, mechatronics, management and production engineering four candidates competed for one place. In the studies of mechanics and mechanical engineering, transport, as well as aviation and aeronautics, there were 3 candidates for one place.
