The Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN) announced the results of applying processes for studies in the academic year 2021/2022. Over 428,000 students were admitted to the universities supervised by the Minister of Education and Science for the first year of studies. 

According to MEiN, over 319 thousand students have started their BA and long studies and MA studies -109 thousand people. Almost 290,000 students will study at public universities and non-public schools will be attended by over 138 thousand people.

Candidates for studies most often chose: IT, psychology, management, medicine and law courses.

The largest number of applications for one place for full-time BA studies and regular master’s studies were recorded by: Gdańsk University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology and Poznań University of Technology.

In terms of the largest number of candidates for one place, the most popular studies in the academic year 2021/2022 were: nanostructure engineering (27.8), Korean studies (26.6), green technologies (25.1),  engineering internet of things (22.0 ), image communication (18.3).
