Over PLN 37 million allocated for the education of students and doctoral students with disabilities

Ministry of Education and Science reports that 94 higher education institutions will receive more than PLN 37 million for tasks related to providing conditions for people with disabilities to fully participate in the university and doctoral school enrolment process and to educate students and doctoral students or conduct research activities.

In 2023, 94 higher education institutions will be granted 37 236 945 PLN to support students and doctoral students with disabilities. The subsidy from the Ministry of Education and Science is intended for tasks related to providing conditions for persons with disabilities to fully participate in the process of admission to university, doctoral schools, education at university and doctoral schools or conducting scientific activity. 

The largest support will be granted to Jagiellonian University in Kraków (PLN 2,468,600), Warsaw University (PLN 2,066,300), University of Gdańsk (PLN 1,561,000), Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (PLN 1,434,596) and University of Łódź (PLN 1,213,200).
