The Baltic Science Network project partners met at the University of Gdańsk. The aim of the meeting was enhancing the level of scientific excellence and innovation in the entire Baltic Sea region.
The Baltic Science Network prepares strategies and programs supporting higher education, research and innovation. Activities are carried out in several areas: strategies for specific research areas, improvement of existing research infrastructure; developing mobility tools and recommendations for increasing the participation of countries with a lower innovation rate in international initiatives.
Members of the network are ministries and agencies responsible for education, development, innovation and research as well as universities and scientific institutions from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Norway, Poland, Russia and Sweden as well as international organizations of the Baltic Sea region.
