The Pedagogical University (UP) in Krakow has launched a new laboratory. The Geographic and Natural Science Education Lab will offer professional courses, preparing students to work as teachers of geography, nature and society.

The Geography and Nature Education Laboratory was established at the Institute of Geography of the University of Life Sciences as part of the GEO ETOS program for educating teachers of geography and nature, implemented from the 2019/2020 academic year as part of the tasks of the “Competent teacher – master and educator” project.

The University of Life Sciences in Krakow emphasized, that it is the only laboratory in Poland that simulates natural, but higher standards than in a typical school. Thanks to the laboratory, students will have the opportunity to prepare for being a teacher by trying out a wide range of techniques, methods and means of working with students of different ages, with different educational needs.
