Ruth Dudek-Wicher won the 7th FameLab competition for the best science promoters in Poland. In June, PhD student at the Medical University of Wroclaw will take part in the international final in Great Britain.
Her lecture, bringing PLN 25 thousand and the participation in the international finals, concerned bone infections and modern methods of their treatment. The jury of the competition in the justification emphasized her high skills, simple and accessible presentation, well-chosen and used props, freedom of expression, tactful sense of humor and distance to herself.
FameLab is an international competition co-organized by the British Council, encouraging scientists to speak in public. Scientists are to tell the jury and the public within 3 minutes what they do in their research work.
