PhD student from the University of Wrocław receives a scholarship from the French government

Damian Bączkiewicz, a PhD student in politics and administration from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Wrocław has received a scholarship from the French government Bourses du Gouvernement Français. The scholarships are awarded annually to scientists from Poland and Europe to complete part of their studies in France or to carry out scientific research there.

As part of the received grant, the laureate will conduct under the scientific supervision of Prof. D. Dakowska from the University of Marseille / Aix-en-Provence, research related to the doctoral thesis being prepared. The dissertation will concern issues related to political competences from the point of view of the theory of enactivism. The scholarship will cover 3 research trips lasting a total of 12 months in the years 2023-2025.

Bączkiewicz also became the Ambassador of Campus France, a French public institution promoting international scientific exchange which provides information about the possibilities of studying in France.
