The Glass Garden project by Aleksandra Kujawska, PhD student of the Glass Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, was awarded in the international competition Design Educates Awards 2021. 

The Design Educates Awards recognize, present and promote worldwide the best ideas and implementations of architecture and educative designs. The jury of the competition is looking for additional benefits with long-term consequences, taking into account the increasing complexity of human lives, both now and in the future. Every year, ideas and implementations are awarded in the categories of architectural design, product design, universal design and responsive design.

The glass garden, designed by the winner, is a response to the city man’s longing for contact with nature. Its individual elements, the number and size of the greenhouse are individually tailored to the needs of the urban farmer and made by hot smelting.
