Marcin Bielicki, PhD student from the Department of Monetary Policy and Financial Markets at the University of Economics in Poznan, became the laureate of the Etiuda 7 competition for doctoral scholarships granted by the National Science Center.

The renowned scientist will receive an 11-month scholarship for the preparation of a PhD thesis “Measuring the efficiency of public venture capital funds” and will hold a 4-month internship at the renowned Dutch center of Rotterdam School of Management.

Etiuda is a competition aimed at scientists who take their first steps in the researches. Persons preparing a PhD thesis can receive scholarships of 4.5 thousand PLN monthly. In addition, the laureates can take internships at a foreign research center of their choice. They receive, depending on the country of stay, from approx. 6 to 18 thousand PLN monthly to cover costs related to a stay abroad.
