Michał Pająk , PhD student at the Department of Mathematical Economics of the Wrocław University of Economics, became the laureate of the scholarship in the Etiuda competition organized by the National Science Center.
The PhD student will receive almost 110,000 PLN for the implementation of the project “Nash equilibrium and optimal solutions in the sense of Pareto in dynamic representations of shared resources”.
Etiuda is a competition aimed at scientists who take their first steps in research. Persons preparing a PhD dissertation are awarded scholarships in the amount of 4.5 thousand PLN monthly. In addition, the laureates can take internships at a foreign research center of their choice. They will receive from approx. 6 to 18 thousand PLN monthly to cover costs related to a stay abroad.
